Monday, February 15, is the federal holiday called President’s Day in the United States, which means many networks have the expected holiday television marathons planned.

Not to be outdone, TNT is joining in the fun, as well, and presenting ten back-to-back episodes of its latest syndication acquisition, the most-excellent CW horror series Supernatural.

It’s almost a new year and a new decade, and TNT plans to inaugurate both with an all-day movie marathon on Friday, January 1, 2010.

Even better, the first six flicks in the nine-movie extravaganza will air with limited commercials, which will make them about ten minutes shorter than the two-hour broadcast television norm.

Happy holidays, TNT fans. Tomorrow is Christmas Day, which means TNT has more marathons in store for viewers.

This year, the network will present an eight-hour Bones-fest from 12pm to 8pm ET, followed by all three two-hour flicks in Noah Wyle’s The Librarian series from 8pm to 2am on December 26.

As hard as it surely is for fans to believe, Raising the Bar will be no more following tomorrow’s Christmas Eve series-finale marathon.

Yet, before saying one last goodbye, viewers will get to see the final three episodes in the ensemble legal drama’s ill-fated sophomore season: “Maybe, Baby,” “O! Say Can You Pee,” and “Happy Ending.”

If you didn’t already know, Thursday, November 26, is the federal holiday Thanksgiving in the United States. In keeping with the popular theme of eating until you’re ready to burst and then lounging around doing as much of nothing as possible, TNT has two mini-marathons scheduled for TV lovers.

And, of course, both are crime dramas: eight episodes of the original series The Closer air from 10am–6pm ET on Turkey Day proper and eight episodes of syndicated Law & Order air from 11am–7pm the day after.

Sunday ‘Numb3rs’ Marathon Coming Up

One of the best things about TNT is the network’s excellent selection of still-in-production syndicated crime dramas. The series currently includes Fox’s Bones, CBS’ CSI: NY, and the latest addition, CBS’ smart FBI procedural with a mathematics fetish, better known to viewers as Numb3rs.

If you like the show, it normally airs weekdays on TNT at 5pm ET, as well as at 6pm on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays (subject to change, of course, depending on what else is scheduled).
