It’s Time to Celebrate ‘Christmas in Washington’

Tonight, December 20, is the night that TNT presents its annual year-end holiday special Christmas in Washington, which is hosted this year by new late-night talk king George Lopez of TBS’ Lopez Tonight.
Featured during the network’s eleventh broadcast of the event are Grammy-winning artists Mary J. Blige, Neil Diamond, Sugarland, Rob Thomas, and Usher. So, if you wish, tune in at 8pm ET to enjoy the show with U.S. President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama, who will both be present in the audience.
The Closer: ‘Dead Man’s Hand’ Photos

Bummer! Viewers are just two days away from the December 21 fifth-season finale of The Closer, which is called “Dead Man’s Hand.”

Southland: The Overview and The Preview

TNT has just released a couple more new videos for the highly anticipated NBC import Southland, which makes its network premiere on Tuesday, January 12, at 10pm ET.
The first clip is a 2½-minute preview montage featuring assorted scenes from the series, mixed with brief shots of series regulars Michael Cudlitz (John Cooper), Regina King (Lydia Adams), and Benjamin McKenzie (Ben Sherman), who provide a little context and insight into the show.

TNT Going ‘Supernatural’ in 2010

Boy, do I love TNT! The best network on basic cable has just landed the rights to air one of my favorite TV series ever, the chilling, sly, and often funny CW horror-fest Supernatural, which is currently in the middle of its fifth season. Make way for the Winchester brothers!
The news arrives courtesy of The Futon Critic, which reports in a December 13 exclusive that TNT “quietly” pursued and obtained the off-network rights to the fabulous show. TNT Releases First ‘Southland’ Promo

Getting excited for the TNT premiere of the former NBC cop drama Southland? Well, so is TNT, and the network has released its first-ever promo clip for the series to prove it.
Called Everyday, the one-minute clip was featured during the December 7 debut of the hit new Ray Romano dramedy Men of a Certain Age.

The brand-new December 14 episode of TNT’s latest apparent hit original series Men of a Certain Age is called “Let It Go.”
Of note is recurring guest star Penelope Ann Miller (Vanished, The Closer, The Relic), who makes her debut appearance as Sonia, the estranged wife of Ray Romano’s lead character Joe.
The Closer: ‘Make Over’ Preview

Acting veteran Beau Bridges (My Name Is Earl, Stargate Sg-1) guest stars on the brand-new December 14 episode of The Closer called “Make Over.”
Bridges plays Lieutenant Provenza’s former partner Detective Andrews, and TNT promises his role will be “surprising.”
‘Raising the Bar’ Series Finale Scheduled
If you haven’t already heard, TNT confirmed on November 30 that the ensemble Steven Bochco legal drama Raising the Bar won’t survive to see a third season on the network.
The news was exactly what the show’s fans didn’t want to hear, and it also left us wondering when we’ll finally get the chance to see the remaining three unaired episodes in the current sophomore season, if ever. Now TNT has spoken again and revealed the date of Raising the Bar’s series finale.
