Remember how TNT announced last August that the otherworldly Holly Hunter cop drama Saving Grace will present its fourth and final season this summer? Well, now the network is apparently taking that scheduling back.

According to television-industry website The Futon Critic, TNT has confirmed that fans will get to see the series’ nine-episode farewell months earlier than originally indicated.

Finally, just what fans have been waiting for. TNT’s fun crime caper Leverage opens its sophomore season tonight, July 15, at 9pm ET with the premiere episode “The Beantown Bailout Job.”

TNT’s brief description doesn’t do the episode justice, which is as entertaining as viewers have come to expect. The main plot goes like this…

One thing I’ve always said about TNT’s Saving Grace is that the show is very much an acquired taste. That’s the trait that kept me from liking the cop drama for more than a season, and once I forced myself to give it a second chance and sit through an entire episode, that’s the trait that also made it grow on me. Fortunately, Holly Hunter’s Grace Hanadarko and her familiar Oklahoma City Police Department colleagues are still chugging along on the fine line between irritating and gripping during tonight’s (June 16) Season Three premiere “We’re Already Here.”

If my many recent blog posts on The Closer haven’t made it clear that the TNT show’s fifth season opens tonight at 9pm ET, let me publish one final reminder. After watching the premiere episode called “Products of Discovery” in advance, I have no trouble assuring viewers that the series is still in top form, despite the changes that TNT has advised are coming up this summer.

The big day is almost here, meaning Monday, July 14, when TNT’s hit series The Closer and Saving Grace will both kick off there respective latest seasons. It’s the second go-round for Holly Hunter’s Oklahoma City-based cop show, and the episode descriptions look promising thus far.

I’m anxiously counting down the days until July 14 next week, when the fourth season of TNT’s hit crime drama The Closer will finally arrive on Monday.
If you, like me, never fail to get a huge kick out of observing Kyra Sedgwick’s Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson at work and at play, you’ll probably share my enjoyment of the following video clip, a sneak peek at the upcoming premiere episode “Controlled Burn.” It looks like the season is going to literally start off on fire.
