Remember how TNT announced last August that the otherworldly Holly Hunter cop drama Saving Grace will present its fourth and final season this summer? Well, now the network is apparently taking that scheduling back.
According to television-industry website The Futon Critic, TNT has confirmed that fans will get to see the series’ nine-episode farewell months earlier than originally indicated.
TNT on DVD: ‘Southland’ Season One

Out on DVD today, January 26, is the first season of TNT’s recent NBC import Southland. So, if you haven’t been able to watch the show’s currently in-progress rookie run on TNT, never fear.
The two-disc set is available in DVD format only (meaning there’s no Blu-ray version), and it includes all seven episodes from the crime drama’s NBC outing last spring.

TNT Presents the 16th Anual SAG Awards Live

On Saturday, January 23, at 8pm ET, TNT will present a live broadcast of the annual Screen Actors Guild Awards for the thirteenth year.
Airing simultaneously on TNT’s sister Turner network TBS, the program will honor nominees and chosen winners for their their outstanding performances during 2009 in five movie categories and eight primetime television categories.
TNT Participates in ‘Hope for Haiti Now’ Global Telethon

If you’re a fan of TNT’s latest original series, Men of a Certain Age, now is the time to get very, very happy. Today the network announced that it has picked up a second season of the rookie dramedy.
The news should definitely provide sweet relief to any viewers worrying the show wouldn’t be renewed due to its so-so ratings. Thank goodness, then, that the series has both critical acclaim and quality on its side, and that TNT recognized why each is important.
‘HawthoRNe’ Snags Two NAACP Image Awards Nods

Gorgeous and talented HawthoRNe star Jada Pinkett Smith has a whole lot to be smiling about these days. Just this week, the renowned NAACP announced that she and her TNT medical drama have been nominated for not one, but two prestigious NAACP Image Awards. Go, Team Jada!
The actress, who also serves as an executive producer of the original series, is up for Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series, and the show is in the running for Outstanding Drama Series accolades, too.
Southland: ‘Unknown Trouble’ Pilot Preview
