Leverage’s February 17 second-season finale called “The Maltese Falcon Job” continues from where the previous episode, “The Three Strikes Job,” left off.

Still intent on bringing down guest star Richard Kind’s (Spin City) corrupt mayor character Brad Culpepper III, Team Nate runs into a bit of a complication that threatens the members’ plan.

As previously mentioned, Spin City alum Richard Kind guest stars on the all-new February 10 episode of Leverage called “The Three Strikes Job.”

During an installment featuring politics and America’s favorite pastime, namely baseball, is it any surprise that the Team Nate member who gets to swing a bat on the baseball diamond is rough-and-ready Eliot? Not at all.

And the top-notch guest stars just keep on dropping by caper dramedy Leverage.

Next up on the brand-new February 10 episode called “The Three Strikes Job” is funny Spin City and Mad About You veteran Richard Kind (pictured above at right with series star Timothy Hutton).

Talented 90210 icon Luke Perry (pictured below) checks into Leverage temporarily on February 3 for a guest-star stint during the brand-new episode “The Future Job.”

And you’re not going to believe what kind of character he plays.

Leverage has really padded the guest star roster for the exciting January 27 episode called “The Zanzibar Marketplace Job.”

Not only does Invasion and Crash alumna Kari Matchett (pictured above at left) return to reprise her role as Nate’s ex-wife Maggie Collins during the installment, but Star Trek: Voyager standout Jeri Ryan will also be back as Tara. Then there’s Battlestar Galactica veteran Mark Sheppard, who drops by to play Nate’s worthy, perpetually conniving nemesis Jim Sterling again.

Saving Private Ryan and Crash cast member Tom Sizemore guest stars on the January 26 episode of Southland called “See the Woman.”

Sizemore plays fictional Timmy Davis, a well-known yet conceited (surprise!) Hollywood actor.

The brand-new January 20 episode of Leverage is called “The Bottle Job.”

This time around, Team Nate takes on a victimizing loan shark whose schemes endanger McRory’s bar.

Newly renewed original dramedy Men of a Certain Age is taking a week off to make room for a January 18 NBA triple-header, but the series will be back on the tube the following week with the brand-new January 25 episode “Father’s Fraternity.”

The wait will definitely be worth it, too, because the episode features acting veteran Robert Loggia (The Sopranos, Mancuso, FBI), who plays the grumpy father of Ray Romano’s character Joe.

Lucky fans are now just two days away from the January 13 second-midseason premiere of television’s most entertaining caper dramedy, which means Leverage, of course.

The brand-new episode, the first of 2010, is called “The Runway Job,” and it features familiar recurring guest star Jeri Ryan (Shark and Star Trek: Voyager, pictured above), who first showed up near the end of the current season’s first half.

It’s almost time for The Closer’s December 21 fifth-season finale “Dead Man’s Hand,” so continue reading for a brief advance review, courtesy of the advance copy of the episode that TNT was kind enough to send me a while ago.

As noted previously, the finale features the return of Battlestar Galactica alumna and two-time Academy Award nominee Mary McDonnell (pictured above at left), who plays Captain Sharon Raydor. Moreover, the episode was directed by none other than series creator James Duff.
