Tricia Helfer Reportedly Joins ‘Dark Blue’ Cast

If you thought Dark Blue receiving a second season just before fans were about to start losing hope was good news, how about this possible casting development?

According to Battlestar Galactica veteran Tricia Helfer (pictured above) herself, she has joined the cast of the stark cop drama, presumably for its upcoming sophomore run.

‘Raising the Bar’ Alum J. August Richards Lands ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Gig

TNT’s original ensemble legal drama Raising the Bar may have been canceled at the end of last year, but that hasn’t stopped former lead cast member J. August Richards from scoring a prized role on another network’s hugely popular primetime series.

According to TV Guide, the Angel veteran will play a young Dr. Richard Webber on ABC’s hit medical drama Grey’s Anatomy, which is now in its sixth season.

Leverage has really padded the guest star roster for the exciting January 27 episode called “The Zanzibar Marketplace Job.”

Not only does Invasion and Crash alumna Kari Matchett (pictured above at left) return to reprise her role as Nate’s ex-wife Maggie Collins during the installment, but Star Trek: Voyager standout Jeri Ryan will also be back as Tara. Men of a Certain Age: ‘Father’s Fraternity’ Preview

Newly renewed original dramedy Men of a Certain Age is taking a week off to make room for a January 18 NBA triple-header, but the series will be back on the tube the following week with the brand-new January 25 episode “Father’s Fraternity.”

The wait will definitely be worth it, too, because the episode features acting veteran Robert Loggia (The Sopranos, Mancuso, FBI), who plays the grumpy father of Ray Romano’s character Joe.
